Q: Can I join at any time in the term?
A: Yes, you can join the Club at any point during a term. Fees will be adjusted to how many weeks are left in the term.
Q: Can my son/daughter join a class that a friend is already attending?
A: Yes if there is space in the class. However we can't promise that we will be able to place your child within the friends group as this could mean that we would need to displace another child from that group.
Q: Can I have a make-up class?
A: make-up class may be possible if A) sufficient notice is given of an upcoming absence and B) an appropriate space becomes available in the in a comparable level class. Make up classes are only possible for the day and time offered by staff and are non-negotiable. Parents need to check back with staff regularly about make up class availability.
Q: Do you offer free trial classes?
A: We do not offer free trial classes. A child's first lesson is their trial lesson before committing to the term.
Q: Can you hold class places open?
A: After the trial lesson, placement is secured by paying the full term fee by the due date.
Q: When are fees due?
A: Payment by the due date secures a place in class for the following term.
Q: What should my child wear to class?
A: Either the Club Uniform OR the alternative dress suggestions outlined in the Club Uniform Dress Code. Please contact us to arrange a suitable time for uniform fittings.
Q: What are your class/group sizes?
A: All classes have a low gymnast to coach ratio allowing all participants to receive quality safe tuition.
Q: Are parents allowed to watch class?
A: Our foyer has chairs and clear glass which offers good viewing and parents are welcome to stay and watch class.
Q: Is there a discount for having more than one child enrolled?
A: Yes. Discounts if more than one family member is enrolled are available. Please contact us to find out what discounts are available.
Q: Will my child be covered by insurance?
A: Insurance is paid as part of membership when starting each year. This fee covers your child while training with Noosa Gymnastics. Insurance fees are non-refundable.
Q: Do you run classes on public holidays?
A: Noosa Gymnastics Club does not run classes on national public holidays but does run classes on Pupil Free Days and local public holidays.
Q: Can both/all of my children attend the same class on the same day?
A: This depends on the age and ability of the children involved. If you have any questions please discuss further with our administration team.
Q: Does it matter if my child has never done gymnastics or struggles with sport?
A: No. Doing gymnastics will improve all children’s mind and body coordination. All children are introduced to the fundamental principles of Gymnastics and coached to their level of ability. Gymnastics is an individual sport and may suit a child who does not like team sports.
Q: Do you have to be over 50 to join a seniors program?
A: People of any age can join our seniors program. The content of the class will be modified to suit the level of ability and/or illness and/or injury to aid in recovery.
